BF6 Battle Royale Launches Tomorrow as a Free-to-Play Game Mode

After quite some time of rumors, the BR game type for BF6 is finally arriving. The latest talk claiming its debut would coincide with Season 1 were true. Gamers can dive into the action starting tomorrow.

The New Season Adding a Fresh Location, Style, and Weapons

Alongside the battle royale addition, Season 1 is also starting. It brings a fresh location, a fresh game type, and fresh guns. On top of that, Redsec is making its debut. An featured teaser will become available at go-live, giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.

Complimentary Model Allows Redsec Accessible to Any Player

Perhaps the key announcement is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. Much like established offerings, you do not need to own the original Battlefield 6 to join in. A number of players have previously experienced pre-release builds of the experience. Those trials were held in a collaborative space, which the developers described as their most ambitious player partnership initiative.

The intense thrill during encounters with opposing teams can't be found in different last-man-standing mode. It feels do or die, and you actually care if you make it or not.
Despite being a critic previously, I'm completely a fan of the battle royale since trying it.

These initial impressions from players have been extremely encouraging. Of course, the experience may have changed over the past couple of months in terms of balancing and tempo. Still, early signs are positive that the battle royale could become a real rival to leading titles. Players are wishing that the best guns from the main game will carry over in the BR.
