Actor Refutes Anti-Vaccine Stance Following Narrating Disputed Covid Film

The acclaimed actor has provided his voice to a recent film that challenges the safety of vaccines and lauds ex- government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Contentious Foundation

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book written by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the pandemic for assertions that the virus was linked to a bad strain of the influenza shot.

The publication's writing partner, a producer, has also written books with far-right radio host Alex Jones. The producer wrote online hailing Neeson's participation in the project.

An Unequivocal Denial

The team of Liam Neeson have provided a comment strongly denying implications that he supports anti-immunization beliefs.

"Many recognize that unethical practices may occur within the medical sector, but that must not be confused with being against vaccines," the comment explains. "Neeson is not, and is not, anti-vax. His extensive work with the UN children's agency highlights his enduring support for public-health initiatives."

The statement continued that the performer had no hand in the project's messaging and that questions about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson includes several strong claims:

• It states that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "blind obedience" to government bodies.
• It posits that "medical science has become deeply influenced by politics."
• Kennedy is featured stating, "The major issue with vaccines is that they simply are not properly vetted."
• The narration also criticizes Covid lockdowns, saying they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
• On the topic of Covid vaccines, it cites a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Historical Context and Recent Disputes

The documentary also references a past television report about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the topic of a formal apology by the network for violations of guidelines.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the Centers for Disease Control to revise its long-held position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is also referenced in the documentary, despite a recent study from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Position of Support

Contrasting the documentary's tone, Neeson has previously voiced strong support for vaccines in his position as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible triumph," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

The film concludes with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This marks not the end of our journey. It is the beginning of a new chapter."
